Artificial X-rays to advance medical research

Researchers at the University of Jyväskylä are working on a project named the AI Hub Central Finland Project that has shown that medical specialists may be startled by synthetic medical visuals that are as realistic as the real images. Artificial X-rays (artificial X-rays) might be used by medical researchers to avoid the regulatory red tape that involves data sharing, especially in the field of artificial intelligence (AI) research, which needs a significant quantity of data for training, evaluation, and confirmation.

The new finding has the potential to speed up the process of research related to AI. Synthetic data, according to Sami yrämö, Head of Digital Health Intelligence Laboratory at the University of Jyväskylä, can enable collaboration between research institutes, educational centers, and businesses.
