The Health Department has urged volunteers for the purpose of co-developing essential APIs that will allow data sharing with the federal government. The department has informed that this is not only a tech-related initiative, but it will genuinely improve the system for aged care as the current system does not afford the responsiveness essential in today’s world. Although it is the first step towards an improved digital ecosystem, stakeholders are hopeful that it will prove fruitful for the healthcare department.
