Boulder Community Health Foundation collaborates with Project Angel Heart to address food insecurity among patients

Boulder Health Community has joined hands with Denver-based non-profit organisation, Project Angel Heart, and has collected funds worth $75,000 to provide free specialised meals to 90 residents of Boulder County. Grant Besser, president of the BCH Foundation, says that by investing in Project Angel Heart, they will be able to “create and care for the healthiest community in the nation.” With the help of hospital social screening and medical records, Project Angel House will reach out to patients who are suffering from chronic diseases such as AIDS, kidney diseases, etc., and are experiencing food insecurity. Tailored meals will help individuals recover sooner by keeping them healthy.
