Can Food Reduce the Risk of Cancer?

According to research, a healthy diet has the potential to reduce the risk of cancer by 20%. However, this does not mean that foods can cure cancer completely. Diet has a stronger causal effect on some tumours than others. According to research, several foods can cause cancer.

For instance, consuming a lot of packaged or red meat is known to increase the risk of colon cancer. However, when it comes to malignancies that are becoming more prevalent, no particular foods are to blame. Instead, it appears that obesity is tilting the scales. In fact, 40% of all malignancies diagnosed annually in the United States are related to obesity. This shows that foods neither greatly contribute to cancer nor do they rule out the risk of cancer.
