The platform is devised to promote value-based delivery and to address the issues with the prior authorisation process. The collaboration between the two firms aims to reduce burden off of the provider and to simplify the prior authorisation process. The software company aims to improve Geisinger’s utilisation management, that will make it easier for the insurance companies to determine if a service is covered in a speedy manner. This process is executed to reduce waiting time for the patients who cannot attain it unless the form is filled.
