Health Buddy enables PwPs to digitally track their symptoms

Health Buddy is a Singaporean healthcare app that has recently introduced a new feature to help patients with Parkinson’s (PwPs). The Parkinson’s care feature will assist patients by keeping a record of their blood pressure, convulsive body movements, and the longevity of the medication. This digital tracker has an edge over traditional lab assessments as it gives an accurate chronological account of the symptoms over time. Because Parkinson’s is all about managing symptoms, this app can assist doctors to treat patients; moreover, patients already suffering from writing difficulties will not have to jot down their symptoms anymore. This renders the app advantageous for the actors involved.
