India to reduce increasing cancer burden by implementing robotics

According to Gautam Khanna, CEO of P D Hinduja Hospital & MRC and Chair of the FICCI Health Services Committee, there are many cancer patients in developing nations like India who may benefit from cutting-edge, efficient and minimally invasive treatments. One such minimally invasive surgical breakthrough is robotic-assisted surgery (RAS), which has become one of the most advanced precision instruments and is causing a fundamental change in the way that minimally invasive surgical operations are approached. If this issue is not addressed, the country may suffer a lot. Therefore, India plans to advance the healthcare industry with the help of RAS and is ready to take initiatives to lessen the burden.
