OSURA raises funds to combat student food insecurity

The Ohio State University Retirees Association (OSURA) has collected $100,000 in the Endowment Fund to combat food insecurity among students that was becoming a concern, according to OSURA Board. In 2019, the board got to know that food insecurity was becoming a major problem at the campus, which urged the board to start collecting funds to alleviate this problem of the students. Food insecurity can lead to other issues such as diabetes, mental health issues, and obesity. To fight these off, OSURA is trying to contribute.
