People are reaching out to food banks as inflation rises

Due to inflation, getting healthy food on the table has become quite a predicament. To address this issue, Valley Rescue Mission Centre is witnessing a rise in people reaching out to them for hot meals. Communication director of Valley Rescue Mission Centre, Greg Wilson, says their bank gives away food to more than 70 people daily. Feeding the Valley is also offering mobile services as it has a mobile pantry and Valley Rescue Mission Centre serves free hot meals during weekdays.
