Regency Robotics’ disinfection Robot gets approval by Health Canada to be deployed

After a year of trial, Regency Robotics’s autonomous UVD UVC disinfection Robot, Model C, has been approved by Health Canada for the protection of individuals against Hospital Acquired Infections (HAIs). This new technology, which has been successfully used in Europe for over five years, has the potential to disinfect hospitals quickly. The CEO and President of Regency Robotics, Don Mellor, is of the view that this is the best time to deploy this technology as the third wave of Coronavirus has surged and the healthcare industry is already experiencing burnout and staff shortages.
