Researchers in France create DNA-based nano-robots that agitate cellular activity

Researchers at INSERM in collaboration with other teams in France have created a nanorobot named Nano-winch using DNA molecules that sit on the surface of cells and agitate mechanoreceptors. This tech-powered programme would enable the researchers to see changes at a biochemical and molecular level. With more and more researchers coming up with robot-based technologies, it seems that the medical world will be able to create robots for several other purposes given they become successful in interacting with certain cellular receptors.
