Scottsdale Physician Group, with the help of AMD Global Telemedicine’s technology, became successful in carrying out a physical examination of patients with the help of remote physicians, vendor technology, and in-home EMTs. Earlier in 2018, the groups found themselves in quite a predicament: some patients needed extreme care and had problems arriving at the hospitals for visits, which resulted in patient dissatisfaction. A quick solution was to send physicians to patients’ sites, which soon proved to be an unfeasible option for both patients and physicians. Currently, Scottsdale Physician Group has AMD’s technology with the help of which it has been able to reduce medical spend by 22%. Patients’ ER visits have also dropped by the similar percentage. The group is capable of examining more than 100 people every day.
