Senate panel to expand telehealth facilities offered by Medicare for mental health

The Senate Finance Committee has drafted a ‘Bill of Rights’ that suggests Medicare to eliminate in-person visits to the doctors, systemising audio-only coverage, and supporting provider use. The senate panel Chaired by Chair Ron Wyden has discussed the expansion of telehealth facilities concerning mental health. In detail, the bill also urges the organisation to inform public on how mental health platform can be accessed. In this year, the committee released five areas that were to be addressed with more care, mental health parity being one.
