St. Luke’s virtual care proves telehealth is as advantageous as in-person care

St. Luke’s University Health Network was looking for a way to expand their network to provide care across 14 hospitals, reduce consultation time, provide care whenever and wherever patients needed it, and a platform to execute all this.

The organisation needed a platform which ensured privacy and addressed the need of in-person consultations. During the pandemic, St. Luke’s University Health Network formed a Virtual Remote Monitoring Centre (VCR) connected to multiple systems that allowed nurses to monitor at-home patients rather than keeping them within the hospital. St. Luke University Health proved that telehealth can be just as beneficial face-to-face consultations by providing virtual care.
